Job overview
* To provide a comprehensive service to Consultants and secretarial services to junior doctors, Cellular Pathology Service Manager and Service Support Manager as required.
* Providing secretarial support to Pathologists in relation to their post mortem responsibilities.
* Coordinating all clerical aspects of this work including typing complex/sensitive post mortem reports and liaising with the Coroner's Office as necessary.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hard-working Medical Secretary to join our team working in Cellular Pathology. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Secretarial / administration capacity. Experience of working within a Multi-disciplinary team would be an advantage as would the ability to support various teams.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
* Good standard of general education with a minimum of 4 GCSEs including Maths and English
* Additional word processing/computer qualifications
Experience
* Sufficient experience of working in an office environment in a secretarial or administrative position
* Experience of working in the NHS
