Headquartered in London, our client is a leading asset management group with an excellent track record, institutional investor base and offices throughout Europe and the US. The firm manages in excess of $20bn in AUM and deploys capital through several investment strategies.
This role is a key addition to the firm's ESG team which will work closely with the internal finance team to help manage ESG risk within the firm's investments and also internally. Day-to-day tasks include:
* Assessing the ESG risks for portfolio companies and potential investments, engaging third-party specialist support as required
* Responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for investors, management and leverage providers
* Collating and analysing both public and private data sources in relation to ESG considerations
* Building reports and dashboards for use in monitoring ESG portfolio performance
* Liaising with the Investor Relations team to produce marketing materials in relation to ESG performance, as well as answering ad-hoc investor requests.
The successful candidate will be a university graduate with some experience working for a sustainability/ESG division within a 'Big 4 Accounting firm or other relevant management/strategy consulting firm. Alternatively, you must be working within credit risk or ESG within a Financial Services firm in London.
