We’re seeking a Lead Vehicle Technician to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Test Workshop Manager, you will be required to join our highly skilled and dynamic Vehicle Engineering team to lead the development, maintenance and testing of prototype and production vehicles in the UK and overseas. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa and Nuneaton. What you’ll do · Lead a team of technicians to support all workshop activities for the vehicle engineering test fleet. · Lead the development, maintenance and test support of prototype and production vehicle, test mules and development rigs. · Assist with Identifying tooling & equipment required to support workshop & vehicle requirements. · Completion of vehicle fault reports and record keeping via issues management/work request systems · Support and implement H&S processes for all workshop activities. Who you are · Track record of working as Lead technician within OEM Prototype/development workshop or Motorsport environment. · Strong technical understanding of vehicle mechanical systems – especially EV’s and HV working. · Experienced with vehicle diagnostic tools. · Experienced with computer based programs – Teams, Jira, Microsoft office etc. · Industry recognised technician qualifications (BTEC ONC/HNC or an apprenticeship combined with relevant experience) About Us Forseven is building something new.
