We’re recruiting Support Workers to help make a difference in the lives of the people we support.
We are one of the leading providers of services to people with learning disabilities and/or autism on the Isle of Wight. We are committed to continuous development and have a passion for supporting our staff to progress and grow within their career in order to continue providing an excellent level of care.
At a 300+ team, we are full of character and skills and are looking to add even more to that. As the company is growing, so are the needs for more talent to come in and deliver a quality service for people with complex needs.
As a Support Worker, you can expect no day to be the same! You will provide a safe and supportive environment to encourage independence and empower the people we support to meet their goals. You will get the chance to support and provide care to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism through day-to-day tasks, out and about on trips and days out, as well as supporting them in achieving goals such as attending college.
If you don’t have experience in this role, don’t worry – all we ask is that you’re caring, patient and committed to learning. We have an extensive in-house training programme that will give you all the knowledge you need and allow you to develop your skills.
For those that do have experience or wanting to progress – we promote from within. Most of our managers and senior support workers started as support workers and progressed up through the company. Our balance of internal and external training, alongside mentoring and on-the-job coaching, give our team the platform to build on and invest in themselves.
We have a variety of opportunities available including full-time and part-time.
Some of the reasons our team love working here:
* Employee rewards platform
* Complete training package
* Enhanced bank holiday rates
* Employee referral scheme
* Fun days and annual events
* Discounted gym membership
