AWE is currently recruiting a Senior Supplier Operations Specialist to provide specialist support to Commercial and AWE Stakeholders in regard to supplier onboarding, management, governance and reporting in the Business System (Fusion)., As the Senior Supplier Operations Specialist, you will build strong relationships with various teams across the business, as well as new and existing suppliers. Advising Commercial and AWE Stakeholders on the appropriate supplier evaluation question sets to be included in tender activities and supplier onboarding. You role will also include:
* Management of approved suppliers including maintaining supplier records and due diligence activities.
* Ensuring the supplier evaluation question sets are regularly reviewed by the Technical Assessors and are up to date with current legislation and policies.
* Supporting the management of allocated supplier relationships.
* Ensuring Fusion housekeeping is maintained to ensure the accuracy of supplier data.
* Developing and maintaining working relationships and awareness with key internal stakeholders.
* Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player., Ensuring suppliers are onboarded in a professional, efficient, and timely manner.
* Regular reviews undertaken of the onboarding process and improvement activities undertaken.
* Working with Internal stakeholders to fully understand the onboarding requirements and ensure process is in line with management arrangements and collaborating on changes.
* Working with potential suppliers to ensure documentation is completed to the required standards.
* Promoting and ensuring the use of a fully evaluated and approved supply base.
* Supporting change and championing best practice to promote the Commercial function.
We are seeking individuals who are comfortable standing up and presenting to Senior Managers. Previous experience in supplier management or supply chain is not essential. We are seeking those with transferable skills and experience, who have previously been involved in the creating of and maintenance of customer, personnel and/or public records. You will be responsible for, Good standard of general education or equivalent experience.

Package: £36,000 to £40,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)., 9-day working fortnight - meaning you get every other Friday off work, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave.
