InterMoor are looking to hire a Warehouse Operative, on a full time, permanent basis. Based at their facility in Montrose, the Warehouse Operative is to ensure the safe and efficient running of the maintenance area as well, ensuring that equipment is distributed correctly and on time, including performing MPI (magnetic particle inspection), routine maintenance on all material stored for rental department.
Duties & Main Responsibilities
* Magnetic Particle Inspection, Maintenance, and refurbishment of equipment
* Safe storage and handling of hazardous material.
* Accurate and efficient stock management in warehouse area, including equipment maintenance, and receipts and dispatch reports where required.
* Production of clear, timely and legible documentation
* Complying with and contributing to the safe operation of all warehouse activities.
* At direction of Operations team, mobilising/demobilising including loading/offloading of mooring equipment to and from various warehouses.
* Working as part of an efficient, effective team.
* Ensure all HSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the organisation. Proactively participate to improve safety awareness.
* Always represent the Company in a professional manner
* Occasional weekend working to ensure timely mobilisation of goods for clients.
Required
* Good standard of general education
* 2 years’ experience of mooring equipment handling and inspection
* Forklift Truck License (Reach and Counterbalance)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Experience of working within a yard and warehouse environment or similar
* Effective/competent MS Office Suite User
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
