Responsibilities
1. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
2. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate benefits and features.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
4. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
5. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
7. Assist in the visual merchandising of the store to enhance the shopping experience.
8. Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
9. Be active in sourcing new contracts and receive a commission on successful contracts.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in fitted furniture sales is required (e.g., must have worked with Sharps or Hammonds).
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
5. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a customer-centric mindset.
6. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
7. Must have own car to go on leads.
