Fire & Security New Business Development Manager
Marlowe Fire & Security, the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK, is looking to appoint an experienced New Business Development Manager from within the industry. The role involves driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions.
Location: Ideally in DE, ST, NG, LE, CV, B, TF, WV, DY
Salary: £35-42,000 (dependent on experience), with OTE circa £70,000, plus benefits including company vehicle or allowance, pension, life assurance, and more.
Responsibilities
1. Represent the company's brand and sell fire & security products within an allocated area to achieve targets.
2. Identify and target potential clients, generating new sales opportunities.
3. Attend appointments, ensuring customer satisfaction and professional representation.
4. Collect and present performance data, ensuring proper documentation.
5. Achieve sales targets through strategic planning and relationship building.
6. Develop and implement sales strategies.
7. Build relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
8. Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
9. Deliver sales presentations and negotiate deals.
10. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of sales and business development experience, mainly with service contracts.
* Strong network of contacts within the industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented.
* Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
* Proficient in CRM and sales tools.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
