H&J Martin Ltd (part of the Lagan Specialist Contracting Group) is now recruiting for a Maintenance Technician (Electrical), The candidate will become part of our Delivery Team undertaking various planned maintenance and reactive/repair tasks to our many high-profile client properties throughout Scotland. What you'll do The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive
* Routine inspections and testing of electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures and fittings.
* Preventative planned maintenance (PPM's).
* Respond to fault call requests.
* Diagnose faults and identify solutions.
* Carry out repair and replacement work.
* General multiskilled duties.
* Keep accurate records.
* Test and certify electrical works.
* Always work safely and to current best working practice and standards.
* On call / Overtime.
What you'll bring As a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) your main skills and experience will include
* Full driving license
* Obtain relevant security clearances.
* Knowledge and experience in other disciplines.
* Level 3 Testing & Inspection
* 18th Edition BS7671
Desirable Criteria
* To have worked in the maintenance environment for at least 2 years
* Sound understanding and technical knowledge working within Electrical or Mechanical engineering or building services.
* Excellent IT skills in MS packages and web-based systems
* CSR card
* IPAF 3a 3b
