Our client, a leading infrastructure development company specialising in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the construction industry, is looking to expand their team with two experienced Quantity Surveyors based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of major infrastructure projects across the Rail, Utilities, and Power Infrastructure sectors, including general civils, Renewables, DNO (Distribution Network Operator), HV (High Voltage) Power, and ICP (Independent Connection Provider) markets. Key Responsibilities: Managing all commercial matters from tender stage through to contract completion. Optimising margins on projects and mitigating commercial risks. Appointing and managing sub-contractors. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Overseeing the commercial management of multiple projects simultaneously. Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and other bespoke agreements. Generating profit margin from projects and increasing turnover. Job Requirements: Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, with a strong background in infrastructure construction (rail and power). Expertise in NEC contracts and their application. Commercial management experience of multi-million-pound construction contracts. Ability to formulate, present, and manage high-value contract variations and claims. Strong skills in negotiation, decision-making, and interpreting construction drawings. Formal qualification in Quantity Surveying or a relevant commercial/construction subject (degree level or above preferred). Membership or working towards an appropriate professional qualification (RICS/CIOB). Benefits: Salary between £50,000-£65,000 per annum. Vehicle allowance or company car. Pension contributions.
