We are advertising this case maintenance Team Leader role on behalf of our client ‘City Facilities Management’. City was established in 1985 and has grown to become one of the World’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.
Job Purpose:
This is a key position, carrying out planned refrigeration case maintenance programme across Southampton. Manage and supervise a case maintenance technician. All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy.
People Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the Case Maintenance Technician.
Job Function:
To undertake the cleaning of refrigerating cabinets and provide basic maintenance whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Principle Accountabilities:
1. Delivery of planned cleaning of refrigerating cabinets which will involve emptying the cabinets, cleaning inside (including filters) in readiness for refrigeration engineers doing the maintenance on the cabinets.
2. Liaising with the technicians to ensure that cleaning tasks are delivered on time and to the agreed specification.
3. Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
4. Representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times and developing strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
You will be positive in approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. You do not need to hold a formal refrigeration or electrical qualification as training will be provided.
Experience required:
* Experience of cleaning / basic maintenance in one of the following areas:
* Food processing
* Industrial cleaning environment
* Full Driving Licence
* Willingness to work night shifts
* Cleaning or maintenance Industry (desirable)
* Flexible and adaptable attitude to job role
* Experience of managing / supervising a team
* Maintenance of Health and Safety policy.
