Salary: £35,392 - £42,618 per annum (depending on experience)
Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist eager to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with complex disabilities, as well as those recovering from acquired brain injuries such as TBI and stroke, along with other neurological conditions.
Supported by our client's established SLT Team, you will collaborate closely with their welcoming, dynamic multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the overall success of their services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide speech and language therapy services to adults dealing with acquired communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing difficulties.
* Deliver neurorehabilitation in a residential environment to adult clients, offering intervention on an individual or group basis as necessary.
* Conduct specialised speech, language, and swallowing assessments and neurorehabilitation for clients following the stroke pathway, adhering to local and governmental regulations.
* Extend specialist speech, language, and swallowing assessments and neurorehabilitation to out-patient individuals as required.
* Take responsibility for developing SLT programmes and services for clients within NRS, under the guidance of Senior Speech and Language Therapists.
* Offer guidance to clients, their families, and relevant personnel on dysphagia management.
* Contribute to monitoring and achieving relevant standards.

* This role is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS with adults barred list check (cost covered by client if not already a member of The Update Service).
About You:
* Enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist with a keen interest in delivering speech and language therapy services for clients with complex neuro disabilities.
* Passionate about your field of work.

* Hold a degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy with up-to-date HCPC registration.
* Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy, adhering to professional guidelines.
