You will be responsible for managing guest interactions, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the front of house area. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Assist in food preparation, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Manage cash handling and basic maths tasks during transactions. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about food preparation techniques. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
