Farrow and Ball – BI Analyst, Wimborne, Dorset (37.5 hours per week) We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our IT team in Wimborne as a BI Analyst. We are offering this position on a full-time basis. This role will be hybrid working between home and our local office in Wimborne. As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for working cross functionally over Farrow & Ball's global departments and stakeholders to transform data into information using business intelligence, machien learning and statistical analysis techniques. The role will form part of the centralised IT reporting function, working to ensure of central reporting systems supports the needs of Farrow & Ball, empowering the business to grow by making data led decisions. What we expect from you as a BI Analyst: Key Responsibilities: Produce analysis, reports, and dashboards using various tools as required. Develop clear reports that tell compelling stories about customer interactions with the business. Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to provide solutions to problems.o Develop and maintain ETL solutions using SSIS. Assist in developing and maintaining the data warehouse (SQL Server). Develop and maintain Power BI datasets (semantic models) and reports. Monitor the operations of the reporting architecture, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and Power BI semantic models, proactively managing any issues on a day-to-day basis. Optimise and maintain reporting schedules to ensure timely distribution of required management information Act as a service centre for company-wide ad-hoc reporting queries and needs, maintaining a strong service SLA approach within an Agile development model. Merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to supply tailored analysis to colleagues, customers, or the wider organisation. Look for opportunities to use insights, datasets, code, and models across other business functions.
