1st Line Support Engineer - Contract Vacancy IR35 Status: Outside Rate: £150/160 p/d Contract Length: 2 Months Working Location: Reading My client has a requirement for two 1st Line Support Engineers on a 2-month contract. The client is a managed service provider that supports clients with their infrastructure, networks, and technology. The client has had internal team changes and requires support on their service desk while searching for a permanent solution. Responsibilities: Provide 1st line technical support via phone and email, resolving customer queries in a timely and efficient manner. Log all incidents and requests and ensure that they are appropriately prioritized and assigned to the relevant team for resolution. Monitor and escalate incidents to the relevant team or external vendor where required. Liaise with other teams and departments to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests. Identify and escalate any potential problems or issues to the Service Desk Manager. Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their incidents and requests.
