Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will be part of a team that undertakes various electrical-based activities onsite based around the installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of ventilation plant.
Description
1. Assist the appointed Lead Engineer or Supervisor in site set up, material delivery, and associated preparation works.
2. Review site literature including but not limited to risk assessments, operating procedures, record drawings, and work instructions to ensure awareness of all required works.
3. Assist in the field wiring of AHU components including motors, isolators, lights, and speed controllers from control panel to component.
4. Assist in the mounting of control panels and installation of cable and containment to components.
5. Basic electrical testing and fault diagnosis.
6. Assistance in the mechanical build process of ventilation plant.
7. Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by following and adopting safe working practices, laws, and legislations.
8. Engage with Lead Engineers and Supervisors to develop personal and professional skillsets within the workplace.
9. Report progression and completion to the appointed Lead Engineer or Supervisor.
10. Any other duties deemed appropriate by the appointed Project Manager or Lead Engineer/Supervisor.
The role is home-based, with travel to customer sites, mainly south of England, with a heavy amount of work in London.
Company Van, tools, and phone provided. Occasional stay-aways. Accommodation provided.
Salary based on a 40-hour working week. 8-4:30 with a 30-minute break. Salary - £27,166-£40,206. Uncapped overtime. Expected overtime £4,250 average a year.
