Shift Maintenance Engineer (known internally as Technical Coordinator)
Location: Hellaby (Home of KP Nuts)
Shift Pattern: 24/7 (a combination of 12 hour shifts 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00 worked over a 5 week shift pattern - this can be discussed in more detail at interview)

What you will be doing:
1. Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety checks, ensure all work complies with safety regulations, and contribute to improving maintenance schedules.
2. Maintain Equipment Reliability: Perform inspections and maintenance to ensure the mechanical and electrical integrity of our equipment, identifying and resolving issues quickly.
3. Monitor & Report: Track equipment performance, manage downtime, and report any breakdowns or trends using the company's reporting systems.
4. Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to processes and work standards, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
5. Collaborate & Communicate: Share key information with colleagues and other shifts, ensuring smooth handovers and clear documentation.

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:
* Formal qualification to at least City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline with corresponding practical experience.
* Any experience of pneumatics or PLC's will be advantageous, as will be the ability to clearly understand engineering drawings, symbols and notation.
* Knowledge of COSHH to legislative standards (essential).
* Continuous improvement experience/Lean tools/techniques.
