Overall Purpose: Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for providing planned and reactive maintenance support across a range of manufacturing equipment. Working safely at all times you will ensure up time and reliability targets are met.Key Duties: To keep yourself and others safe at all times. Take ownership of machinery and lead the drive for improvement to achieve and surpass set targets in up time, mean time between failure and mean time to repair. Review safety requirements and maintain compliance, taking the appropriate corrective action. Working to PM schedules ensuring minimum disruption to production. Create a culture of continuous improvement with the involvement of all team members. Investigate maintenance problems and provide corrective action and advice. To comply with any reasonable request that is within your capabilities whilst maintaining safety at all timesKey Requirements: ONC or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience. Excellent mechanical aptitude, any electrical experience is hugely beneficial. Knowledge of steam and compressed air systems preferred but not essential. Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics. Proven analytical and problem solving skills. A self-motivated individual with an organised approach and strong effective decision making and communication skills Microsoft office experience. The Package: £52,000 - £55,000 per annum inclusive of shift allowance. Double day shift role: 06:00 - 14:00 Mon to Thursday, 06:00 to 11:30 Friday AND 14:00 to 22:00 Mon to Thursday, 11:30 to 17:00 Friday. Contractual overtime working of 1 weekend in 4, Saturday & Sunday 6:00-14:00. (13 weekends in total). Pension - auto enrolment 4.5% contribution from the company, 4.5% from employee.
