We are looking for
We are looking for a dedicated Junior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Financial Accountant in the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including banks, debtors, and creditors.

What You Will Be Doing
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness, matching reported figures with third-party support.
* External Audits: Assist the Financial Accountant in all aspects of external audits, efficiently directing auditors to the right areas of the business to resolve queries promptly.
* Finance Projects: Support additional finance projects as required and directed by the organisation.
* Detailed Analysis: Produce detailed analysis of balance sheet headings for entity and consolidation.
* Transaction Investigation: Investigate transactions within the nominal ledger to resolve any arising queries.
Our Ideal Person
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Meticulous in reviewing financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Capable of investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial transactions.
* Ability to analyse financial information and provide insights for decision-making.
* Effective in both written and verbal communication, especially when liaising with auditors and other stakeholders.
* Collaborative and able to work well within a team environment.
* Efficient in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
* High level of integrity and ethical standards in handling financial information.
* Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and projects.
* Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and taking the initiative to address them.
