Job Opportunity: Income Services Officer Location: West Yorkshire Contract Type: Temporary - Approx. 1 Month Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) Working Pattern: Hybrid - Home, Office & Site-Based Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Manage rent arrears and associated charges in line with the organisations policies Take early and consistent action to prevent the escalation of arrears Liaise with customers in arrears to offer support and agree viable repayment plans Prepare and manage legal documentation and represent the organisation in court when required Ensure all procedures comply with legislation, regulation, and pre-action protocols Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with tenants Use data insights and professional judgement to anticipate and resolve potential issues early Collaborate with colleagues to ensure long-term value for money Actively work to reduce evictions and tenancy failures related to debt About You: Proven experience in income or rent recovery services within social housing or a similar environment Strong knowledge of relevant housing legislation and procedures Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proactive, solution-focused, and committed to achieving positive outcomes Full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - essential due to site visits
