As part of the company’s expansion of their Interior Solutions Department, we now have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Internal Sales Representative / Client Account Executivewho has a polite, professional and helpful telephone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working as an Internal Sales Representative / Client Account Executive you will assess new business opportunities and qualify leads before passing on to the Sales Managers to follow up.
As the Internal Sales Representative / Client Account Executive you will also carry out new business development, researching and reaching out to potential prospects about the company’s products and services. You will also manage some small client accounts, identifying any upselling opportunities as they arise.

DUTIES
Your duties as an Internal Sales Representative / Client Account Executive will include:
1. Making outbound calls to assess new business opportunities, confirming potential for company products before passing to the Sales Managers
2. Qualification of customer data to generate a focus list for onward sales and help manage the department‘s CRM system
3. Develop additional sales of products through cross selling opportunities from inbound and outbound calls
4. Use research and external Industry magazines to source and log new potential prospects and market information relevant to the furniture industry on the company’s internal database
5. Updating the CRM database in conjunction with the Sales Managers on market size / share, new opportunities and priorities
6. Assessing and documenting relevant information on competition, stock holding, range portfolio and locations
7. Manage some small accounts and operate as holiday cover for Sales Coordinators
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
8. Have excellent telephone manner and communication skills
9. Be computer literate with experience using Microsoft packages including Teams
10. Experience using SAP would be advantageous
11. Have excellent organisation and time management skills
12. Be able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team within a busy customer orientated sales office
13. Experience in a telesales or outbound business development role, B2B would be an advantage
14. Have knowledge of CRM systems (advantageous), although training will be given
15. A confident and enthusiastic approach to tasks
