An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated practitioner to join Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT). EPUT is a highly successful and ambitious organisation dedicated to providing mental health services, substance misuse services and other specialist award winning services to a population of approximately 2.5 million throughout Essex, Bedfordshire and Suffolk.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful mental health practitioner who will have the ability to respond positively and creatively to the needs of our service users and their networks. To empower them to develop their own plans of support moving forward that can be resourced and supported by the professional network where needed.
Main duties of the job
We have an exciting new opportunity for a band 6 mental health worker based within the Linden centre adult inpatient wards. You will be part of the development of the trusts nationally Recognised award winning Mental Health Family Group Conference Service.
The adult mental health family group conference in Unique to Essex but has influenced the development of this approach internationally in adult care services and continues to demonstrate effective outcomes for service users and their families in crisis management, recovery planning and addressing safeguarding concerns.
