Head of True Sustainability at Open Energy Market
Company Overview
Introducing True: an innovative platform that combines energy procurement and sustainability in one place, enabling better decision-making and the delivery of commercially competitive sustainability projects.
At True – Powered by Open Energy Market, we help customers navigate the complexities of sustainability and achieve decarbonisation goals. Through the integration of energy procurement data with sustainability projects, businesses are provided with actionable insights and dynamic strategies to drive impactful decarbonisation initiatives. From tracking carbon emissions to setting energy-smart targets, True empowers businesses to make informed decisions and confidently invest in sustainability. With its adaptive strategy, True enables organisations to develop comprehensive and dynamic net zero roadmaps, optimise energy costs, mitigate risks, and accurately forecast future energy requirements.
Whilst the True platform can be operated on a self-serve model, many businesses are still struggling with where to start, and how to navigate the broad range of technologies and suppliers on offer. This is where our True Crew comes in.
The sustainability channel at True is a fast-emerging arm of the business, backed by Open Energy Market’s longstanding and market leading energy procurement channel. The True Crew act as an extension of a business’ team, helping them achieve more ambitious targets, greater savings, and an easier, faster journey to cost and carbon reduction. Our team will help build realistic targets and a strategy to meet those targets, conducting tenders for multiple technologies across a company portfolio, then project managing implementation from inception to delivery.

We are at the forefront of where sustainability and technology converge, and are looking for entrepreneurial, enterprising individuals who are passionate about making a difference, and excited by the idea of wearing many hats. The role currently comprises assisting clients in developing net-zero strategies, researching emerging technologies, creating carbon reduction strategies, maintaining partnerships, pitching and selling True across industries, and contributing to product development.
