Catherine Wilman Interiors is seeking an experienced senior interior designer to join its studio in London, UK. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-end residential renovation projects ranging from £1m to £5m, working closely with our creative director, Catherine, and playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional design solutions.

As a senior designer, you will be responsible for independently managing high-end residential projects from concept to completion. This role involves leading client engagements, ensuring design intent on-site, and mentoring junior designers.
Salary range: £45,000 - £50,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
* manage multiple projects and their timelines, ensuring budgets and quality standards are met
* lead client meetings, presenting design concepts confidently and effectively
* conduct site visits and liaise with contractors to ensure the successful execution of designs
* produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
* mentor junior team members, providing guidance and ensuring design standards are maintained
Requirements:
* at least six years of experience in London’s high-end residential interior design market.
* a strong portfolio showcasing completed high-value projects, including heritage property renovations.
* advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign)
* expertise in joinery design and window treatments as part of FF&E schemes
* strong knowledge of high-end suppliers and manufacturers
* excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
* a valid driving license is preferred but not essential
* Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
