Main duties of the job
You will be supporting the Chief Operating Officer to fulfil all duties associated with the role, and to do so in a way that role-models the values that drive all of us who work here: Expert, Kind, Collaborative and Aspirational. I am looking for an individual who can take the initiative and seize the opportunities around them. The role will require a positive approach to learning and good analytical skills, and the ability to stay calm whilst working in the fast-paced and demanding environment of a large acute hospital trust. The chosen candidate will need to be able to provide comprehensive and proactive assistance to the Chief Operating Officer, including administrative, secretarial and briefing support, and lead on developing briefing packs and presentations. The successful candidate will also need to manage the competing demands on the diary of the Chief Operating Officer.
