INVISTA Canada's Kingston nylon manufacturing site located in Kingston, Ontario has an immediate opening for an Industrial Power Systems Engineer to join our Integrated Engineering Team.

What You Will Do
1. Power distribution system short circuit protection and coordination studies
2. Arc flash studies
3. Produce and/or evaluate technical design solutions on existing equipment or new capital installations.
4. Improve the reliability of our power distribution systems and related site electrical equipment.
5. Integrate best technologies into predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
Areas of Focus
1. Plant electrical distribution systems
2. Motor/drive systems
3. Industrial electrical control systems
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
1. Master's Degree in Power Systems Engineering OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with three (3) or more years of post-education professional/industrial experience
2. Knowledge or experience in power distribution systems up to 44kV
3. Knowledge of electrical protection and control systems
What Will Put You Ahead
1. Knowledge and application of the Canadian Electrical Code and the Workplace Electrical Safety Standard, CSA Z462-2021
2. Project leadership and execution skills
3. Professional Engineer (PEO) designation
