Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Provide specialised English and Maths tutoring for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised learning plans to support students' academic progress and personal development
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons both in-person and through online platforms
* Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Required Qualifications:
* A recognised teaching qualification in English and Maths
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practices
* Strong organisational and time management skills
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
* Work may be conducted in school settings, student homes, or online
* Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and educational professionals
