Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and efficient Examinations Manager / Data Officer to join Pencoedtre High School.
We are looking for a motivated individual to help, implement, oversee and manage all of our Examination processes. This will require effective liaison with Exam Boards, students staff and Senior Leadership and to support the provision and delivery of school performance related data. This post is a full-time, all year round, permanent position with the requirement that the postholder is unable to take Annual Leave during the 2 weeks of GCSE and A Level results in August.
Candidates must be flexible, have good prioritisation and organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, A high level of IT proficiency is particularly important.
Team working and leadership skills are important as the Exams Manager/Data Officer will work closely with Curriculum leaders and Support Staff and will recruit and lead a team of casual exam invigilators.
The postholder will have contact with students and at times their parents, hence clear communication skills with a calm approach will be vital.
Previous experience of data analysis and exams management are highly desirable.
