Based near Watford on a huge MoD base We are seeking to hire a full time, permanent PPM Supervisor to oversee the delivery of delegated technical, H&S and administrative tasks associated with subcontractor supervision, for the successful delivery of planned maintenance, statutory inspections, professional and non-professional inspections and technical compliance
What you’ll do:
* Deliver delegated technical, health & safety and administrative tasks associated with subcontractor supervision
* Successfully deliver the end to end process of subcontractor management onsite ensuring the successful supervision of all personnel undertaking works for the A&E Ops Team
* Ensure subcontractors are booked into site, pre-start meetings scheduled, set to work briefings delivered and that all required RAMS and competency checks undertaken prior to works commencement
* Undertake regular HSE inspections and quality/compliance checks on all subcontractors to maintain successful delivery of works and improve services where required
* Arrange for the escorting of subcontractors and where necessary assist with this activity
* Undertake COSHH AP duties for responsibility of all internal & external COSHH use, overseeing the management of the COSHH process and adherence to Skanska polices & procedures
* Support with A&E evidential photography for all internal and external maintenance to ensure adherence to site security protocols
* Monitor progress of tasks and ensure completion certification is completed and received
* Supervise sub-contractors ensuring work is carried out in line with PPM programmes, procedures and statutory compliance
* Review technical reports from sub-contractors for the services managed and prepare delegated action plans for any item arising from audits and inspections
What you’ll bring to the role :
* Previous experience in a similar role, within FM with comprehensive knowledge of relevant maintenance standards (e.g. SFG20)
* Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Working or Managing Safely )
* Excellent team working and problem-solving capabilities
* Experienced in reviewing technical reports for action/escalation
* Proficient in Microsoft packages, including word, excel and outlook
* Must be capable of fully satisfying the Client security clearance minimum requirements
