Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Automation & Maintenance Engineer to lead automation efforts within a specialist manufacturing environment. Join a growing company known for innovation, quality, and high-speed production, and make an impact in a fairly autonomous role.
Responsibilities:
* Service and maintenance of automated production lines
* Fault finding and troubleshooting complex electromechanical issues
* Installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
* PLC and CNC software - modifying, programming, and optimising processes
* Process improvement through smart automation solutions
* Leading and developing a small team of technicians and engineers
Requirements:
* Strong electromechanical competency (confident with wiring diagrams and mechanical drives)
* Proven PLC programming/modification experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, ideally food & beverage or similar
* A proactive problem-solver with a drive for continuous improvement
* Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
