Product Marketing Executive
Stoke on Trent – Hybrid working arrangements but must be local to the office.
Permanent, full time (35 hours per week Monday – Friday) up to £28,000 depending on experience.
Our client is a leading organisation formed over 20 years ago and provides a range of digital software solutions to a specialist industry sector. They are award-winning and have a strong market share within their sector. As part of the business model, they also operate a marketing agency specialising in PPC / SEO and digital marketing for their clients.
Due to continued growth and development within their strategic plans, they are looking to expand with an additional Product Marketing Executive.
As Product Marketing Executive, your role is to thoroughly understand the existing products and new launches to deliver compelling marketing campaigns to help generate uptake and interest in the product to achieve forecast goals. You will work closely with the Product Owners to capture the features, benefits, and USPs of the product and deliver marketing literature and support material including sales support documents, pricing information, internal intranet information, case studies, and more.
As Product Marketing Executive, you’ll have a close relationship with the Commercial and Operations Teams to ensure all team members have the information they need to properly position the product and promote it to customers.
Key Duties include:
1. Planning and creating go-to-marketing strategies for upcoming releases as well as product refreshes.
2. Creating compelling emails to new and existing customers, as well as attention-grabbing messaging, to communicate the release of product launches and their benefits to the customer.
3. Supporting with the collation and distribution of customer-facing product release notes.
4. Building and managing sales packs and literature to support the sales teams with the proposition and positioning of our services.
5. Analysing data to understand the performance benefits that our products deliver to customers, to create compelling case studies and informational pieces to support your messaging.
In order to be considered for the role of Marketing Executive, you will need:
1. At least 3 years’ experience in a B2B product marketing environment.
2. Experience of creating successful go-to-market campaign plans.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Good data analysis skills to collate statistics into usable reports and case study data.
5. Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
6. Comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders including customers, third-party marketing teams, and industry press.
7. Excellent PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills.
8. Ability to understand technical information and translate it into customer-friendly language.
In order to be successful in the role of Marketing Executive, you will also have:
1. Experience of marketing SaaS products.
2. Design experience (including Photoshop, InDesign, Canva or equivalents).
3. Understanding of the automotive industry – particularly used car dealerships.
4. Experience of using Zoho.
5. Experience of using Mail Chimp.
