Challenging Behaviour Support Assistant – Treorchy (CF42) Location: Treorchy, CF42 Pay: £77 - £90 per day Flexible Working Options Support, Inspire & Make a Difference We are looking for a Challenging Behaviour Support Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Treorchy, supporting KS3 & KS4 students with behavioural challenges. This role involves 1:1 and small group interventions, helping students stay engaged and promoting a positive learning environment. Interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams over the next two weeks. Your Role: ✔️ Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural challenges. ✔️ Build strong relationships to help students manage emotions and behaviour. ✔️ Encourage positive behaviour strategies to improve engagement in learning. ✔️ Assist with schoolwork and ensure students stay on track. ✔️ Work closely with teachers and staff to implement support strategies. ✔️ Safeguard student wellbeing and maintain a safe, structured environment. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 GCSEs (including core subjects). Patience, resilience & strong communication skills. Experience in education, youth work, or care (desirable but not essential).
