We are looking for an Adoptions Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Advanced Water Infrastructure Networks. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of customer relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. You will coordinate client water and drainage requirements throughout the NAV appointment process, helping to deliver successful outcomes for their developments.
The Role
The Adoptions Project Manager will establish client requirements for water and drainage provisions, manage expectations, and convert these into timely post award incumbent applications, to ensure Ofwat applications can be submitted to align with the clients’ obligations. Other responsibilities include:
* Become an integral part of clients’ NAV journey and be proactive in providing advice and solutions as the site progresses.
* Assess the post award reports received from the incumbent water and sewerage companies to ensure that they conform with their published charging arrangements, and that they align with the clients site supply strategy.
* Interface with the internal design, commercial and operations teams along with external designers, developers and self-lay providers.
* Offering technical support to the client and AWIN’s commercial and design teams.
* Raising and resolving queries with AWIN Technical Account Manager.
* Liaise with consultants, Contract Managers, clients, sub-contractors and support functions ensuring specifications, quantities, issues and risks are identified and agreed.
* Secure approval of design from relevant adopting parties.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Technical or Project Manager/Customer Service role. They will also have:
* Minimum 2 years experience in coordination and planning of projects, ideally within the Utilities, construction or residential sector, although industry experience not essential.
* Water & sewerage industry knowledge would be desirable.
* Knowledge of the Water Industry Act 1991 would be desirable.
* HND/HNC or Degree would be desirable.
* Commercial experience would be desirable.
* Pro-active and hands on approach.
* Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
* Empathetic approach to both internal and external customers, offering first class customer service at all times.
* Excellent communicator with ability to resolve problems in a proactive manner.
