F & B Assistant (Casual) – Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa We are looking for exceptional and experienced Food & Beverage Associates to join our Team Who are we? What we are looking for:- We are looking for a team player with a minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar position in a hotel. You will consistently deliver the highest standard and quality of customer service, thereby ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience in all F&B areas and that service expectations are exceeded. You will have the ability to work well with all team members in the F&B departments, follow leadership instructions and work to a high standard in a busy environment. What's the Role? Require to:- Warmly welcome guests to F&B areas, to efficiently take their order and answer any questions they may have. Ensure service delivery is of the highest standard at all times. Remain attentive to guests at all times, checking that they are happy with their choice of food and /or beverage; that glasses are replenished; new orders are taken. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu and any specials of the day, including an ability to inform guests of menu content with regard to food Contribute to increased F&B revenues by upselling from the food and beverage menus. Ensure all tables are set to the correct standard for the breakfast, lunch, dinner and events service within all F&B areas. Ensure all cutlery, linen, glassware and crockery are clean and polished and presentable in line with the Resort standards. Ensure that all mise en place is correct and in situ. Ensure the prompt clearing and cleaning of tables both during service and when guests leave, including resetting of tables and chairs to their default position. Ensure that cleanliness and hygiene standards are met at all times and to ensure that everything is tidied away at the end of each shift ready for the next Take responsibility for taking immediate remedial action (or escalating to management) if there are any problems/complaints. Proactively and collaboratively work with all team members in the F&B department to ensure a consistent, seamless service is delivered to all Check all guest account signatures and ensure all bills are settled.
