We are a UK-based asset manager and investment company in the social housing sector, committed to delivering exceptional value to our ethical-minded investors. We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to play a key role in the investment analysis of potential and active investments across the portfolio.
As a core member of a growing real estate practice, this role demands a hands-on approach and active involvement across the investment process. From conducting in-depth market research and due diligence within the UK real estate sector to performing detailed deal analysis, financial modelling and investor reporting, this position is pivotal to delivering informed investment decisions and supporting strategic growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Modelling: build and maintain complex financial models to analyse potential real estate investments, evaluate performance metrics and forecast returns;
* Market research and analysis: conduct market research to assess trends, demand and risks within specific real estate sectors. This involves tracking economic indicators, demographic data and other key factors influencing real estate markets;
* Asset management support: assist the team in optimising the performance of properties post-acquisition by supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking;
* Investor reporting: prepare regular and ad hoc reports and memos to communicate deal highlights, financial analysis and risk assessments and update investors on portfolio performance and any real estate market insights;
* Pitch deck preparation: assist in preparing compelling pitch decks to communicate investment opportunities and strategies to investors;
* Due diligence coordination: support the due diligence process by reviewing legal documents, coordinating with third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with financial and operational requirements;
* Risk assessment: identify and evaluate potential risks associated with investment opportunities, developing risk mitigation strategies as necessary.

Skills & Experience
* Experience: preferably 2 years of successfully delivering in a similar role in a real estate environment;
* Technical Skills: proficiency in financial modelling with strong analytical skills;
* Office skills: high level of competence with Excel and PowerPoint;
* Communication Skills: able to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to both internal and external stakeholders, in writing and orally;
* Qualifications: Degree-level with Mathematics and/or Economics preferable.
