Job summary This role sits within the Bexley Training Hub which is hosted by the South East London Workforce Development Hub. In the transition to modern General Practice, staff teams are expanding and diversifying rapidly. New training opportunities and pathways are being developed and the skillset of the workforce is being continually updated. This role is to support student learning in practice for all multi-professional learning by developing and fostering quality across the learning environment and clinical placement areas. This will be achieved by working in partnership with ICS level placement co-ordinators, higher education institutions and other partners, supporting and empowering assessors and supervisors to develop and maintain quality learning environments in which all learning is optimised. Main duties of the job Working collaboratively with the primary care network (PCN) education lead(s) to ensure that Bexley PCNs are equipped and supported in their role as host organisations for learning across the primary care workforce. Lead on the annual self-assessment returns for each PCN for their learning environment accreditation, monitoring for quality assurance and progress to ensure timely responses. Collect and audit the educator and learner landscape for Bexley. Participate in educator accreditation panels as required for SEL batch approvals. Supporting the development of practice learning environments that facilitate an optimal learning experience for students and maximise graduate recruitment and retention within primary and community care.
