About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Work closely with individuals and small groups of students with ASD and SEMH needs. Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development, fostering confidence and independence. Assist teachers in creating and adapting learning resources to meet individual needs. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and engagement. Build strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and commitment to student well-being. About You: To succeed in this role, you should have: Experience working with students with ASD, SEMH, or similar needs. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. The ability to adapt and respond to varying student needs with creativity and resilience. A commitment to promoting inclusion and celebrating diversity. Desirable: Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
