My client is a highly successful and well established Foodservice business. They supply Food across all temperatures including Chilled, Ambient and Frozen into the Foodservice End User marketplace. In line with the growth plans comes succession planning, therefore the path for progression is very real and carries numerous opportunities for candidates with the right aspirations and capabilities. The area in which we need the Business Development Manager is North Yorkshire (York to Scarborough)
The Role
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:
Selling Food into the Foodservice End User marketplace
70% of your role will be focussed on New Business Development and 30% on Account Management
Dealing with Buyers, Owners, Chefs
You will be responsible for fully developing the existing customer accounts and prospecting for new business within the area, with particular attention being paid to Independent Business.
Working closely with the Head of Sales to drive sales
