Interim HR Systems Project Coordinator
Contract: Initial period 3 months; may be extended
Hours: Flexible - to be agreed
Location: 1 St. Georges Place, York, YO24 1GN, with hybrid working
Salary: To be negotiated, based on experience
A HR Systems Project Coordinator is needed to cover for staff absence and support the HR Team with the implementation and ongoing
development of our new HRIS - MHR People First - ensuring it aligns with organisational needs and HR policies and processes.
People First is an integrated HR and Payroll system. We’re looking for someone with first-hand experience of implementing a
cloud-based HRIS and of realigning existing HR processes, working closely with colleagues in both the HR and Finance teams.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversight and coordination of the project implementation plan and supporting the team to fully implement the HRM and Absence
modules which covers most of HR’s core BAU work.
* Trouble-shooting any problems as the systems goes live to all users on 1 April.
* Additionally, supporting the implementation and development of new modules for Onboarding, Learning and Talent Management.
* Working with the HR team to generate reports and dashboards to track key HR metrics and trends and to replace existing manual
data tracking systems.
* Identifying areas for process improvement and suggest solutions to enhance HR operations.
* Reviewing and applying system updates, as issued by MHR People First on a regular basis
You will have:
* A strong background in HR administration and understanding of HRIS functionalities. Direct experience of People First would be
a distinct advantage.
* A high level of IT proficiency, to include all Microsoft office applications and the ability to compile accurate data and
present analysis in a range of formats (e.g. Excel, Power BI etc).
* The ability to identify and resolve technical issues, data inconsistencies and user problems.
* Experience of providing coaching, training and support to HR staff and other users.
* The ability to create user documentation, FAQ’s and other support materials.
* Some understanding of HMRC, statutory payments and managing overtime payments and holiday entitlement for variable hour staff
would be an advantage.
