The Role An Accounts Manager ensures the smooth delivery of statutory accounts preparation and manages comprehensive accounts assignments, including those for charities and not-for-profits. You will oversee workflow and team management, taking the lead on audit assignments from planning to completion, and reviewing audit files ahead of Director review. Building and sustaining key relationships with clients is crucial, as is handling ad-hoc project work. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Senior Management team and Directors in delivery of statutory accounts preparation Full Accounts role including Charities and NFP Management and delivery of accounts assignments Oversight of workflow and management of team Taking lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion Review audit files ahead of Director review Building and sustaining key relationships with clients Ad-hoc project work Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience Experience as a manager or overseeing a small team Experience managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion and client delivery Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (desirable) Your Career with Gravita When you join Gravita, we’ll support you on your own growth journey.
