Are you a strong administrator looking for a new challenge? At BPAS, we're looking for an experienced administrator to come and join our fast-paced team in our Bournemouth Telemed hub. As an Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for completing all administrative & client support tasks within the hub, supporting clients through their episode of care. This role is for 30 hours per week to be worked over Tuesday to Saturday. A detailed shift pattern and salary information can be found in the further information section below. Please note this is a hub-based role. Administration experience gained within an office/professional environment is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues as necessary, and welcome clients and escorts to the hub directing them as required.
* Accurately check or complete all necessary BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring relevant documentation is available for the client's episode of care.
* Provide all information to clients in a supportive and reassuring manner, to ensure informed choices are made at all stages of their care.
* Monitor, edit and amend appointment list using the booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
* Provide admin support for safeguarding in the hub.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience of working within an office environment, where you've carried out administration duties.
* Excellent communication skills both internally and externally with a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
* Experience of dealing with patients within a care environment.
* Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation, telephone, and reception duties.
* Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients, and is an effective team player.
