Service Care Solutions are working alongside a Local Authority in Denbighshire for an Administrative Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. Please find a description of the role below.
Role: Administrative Officer
Rate: £14.65- £15.67 per hour (umbrella/limited) (based on qualifications, experience and interview performance)
Location: Rhyl
Working: On-site
Contract: 2 months' ongoing
Role Overview:
1. Under the instruction/guidance of senior staff: provide general administrative and financial support to the department/service.
2. Undertake reception and/or greeting duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries.
3. Provide routine clerical support e.g. photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, completing routine forms.
4. Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems.
5. Undertake copy-typing and word-processing of routine documents and other IT based tasks under supervision.
6. Sort and distribute mail.
7. Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.
8. Assist in maintaining the office stationery supplies and keeping the stock room tidy.
9. Organise meetings.
10. Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
11. Provide cover for colleagues on comparable grade during periods of absences due to holidays, sickness and other unforeseen events.
12. Undertake other relevant duties as agreed by Line Manager.
