This national fire systems installer is looking to recruit a site-based fire detection service engineer, to be based in Berkshire. The successful applicant will be responsible for the service and maintenance of both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems and their associated equipment on site, as well as being on the call-out rota ( in weeks).
Candidates for this role will ideally be educated to City & Guilds level or equivalent, and FIA units & (maintenance) certification or similar, having proven ability in the service and repair of fire detection and gas extinguishing systems (electrical only), having diagnostic and fault-finding skills, excellent working knowledge of BS and BS. Excellent communication skills and a full driving licence are also requirements.
This interesting site-based role comes with a basic salary of up to £, plus £, site allowance, callout at in, overtime, a -day fortnight and an excellent benefits package that includes days holiday, holiday buy scheme, pension, sick pay, industry-leading maternity/paternity scheme, health cash plan, plus more. All candidates will need to be security vetted, once completed an extra £, is added to the salary p/a.
