Advert Pupil Equity Worker (7/09246) (Fixed Term) Annan Academy £22,536.01 - £23,927.77 You will be required to work 36 hours per week, 38 weeks per year Job Purpose: This is a unique opportunity to work in a team with a specific role to support pupils and their families to overcome disadvantage and to maximise opportunities for young people. This will involve supporting a specific group of pupils to help raise their attainment and increase their opportunities for personal achievement. The successful candidate will work to maximise wellbeing by supporting teaching and learning, working with families and one to one counselling. The hours will be based around the school day, week and term time but not exclusively. Flexibility will be required for work during school holidays and after school hours. This post is funded by Scottish Government Pupil Equity Funding (PEF). It is based within the Pupil Support Team (Pastoral and Support for Learning) working with pupils and their families.
