We are seeking a Junior Project Manager. This is a full-time permanent position based in Dargan Drive, Belfast.
Travel is required as part of this role.

Role Purpose:
To provide support to the Property and Facilities Manager in managing property projects, delivering a range of energy-saving, revenue-generating, and construction projects in our Company Owned Company Operated stores, Cash and Carry stores, and other buildings as required. This would be achieved through the carrying out of these tasks or sourcing and arranging for specialist contractors to carry out the works.
Role Scope:
Working across Northern Ireland, supporting stores and managers with ongoing property projects for the company’s property, equipment, and assets.
Maintenance:
* Responsible for the delivery of property projects.
* Working from a preferred supplier list of specialist contractors and managing onsite works.
* Working with the Property Administrator to ensure detailed updates on all projects.
* Working with the Property & Facilities Manager to ensure projects are delivered in a timely fashion and within agreed budgets.
Administration:
* Maintain project logs to plan annual workload and projects.
* Record and distribute minutes of on-site meetings.
* Email for detailed updates on projects and attend site meetings.
* Help obtain quotes and tender costs for approval by others.
* Create business cases and capex requests for project approvals.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* 2 years experience in a property or project role.
* Working towards Project Manager qualifications, qualified or interested in qualifying in this area.
* Full Driving Licence.
* Knowledge of dealing with external stakeholders, agents, contractors, and/or suppliers.
* Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional working relationships.
* Project planning and Gantt chart reporting.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Negotiation and influencing skills.
* Ability to prioritise.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Can-do attitude with the ability to embrace change.
* Ability to use email and Microsoft programmes.
