About The Role
We are looking for confident, outgoing individuals to assist with operating our Canoe Safari Trail. You will be engaging with and instructing our visitors to ensure they have an unforgettable experience whilst hiring a canoe on a self-paddled 1km trail through our nature reserve. All training will be provided to take card payments, assist visitors with fitting buoyancy aides and helping them in and out of canoes. You will also assist with some vegetation management along the trail and help look after the play area including litter picking. A practical can do attitude is highly sort after.
You don’t need to know how to paddle a canoe, we are happy to show you, what is really important to us is your ability to deliver great customer service and ensure that our visitors have an amazing time.
Hours are 11am – 4pm, weekends and school holidays (5th April until 28th September) on a rota basis. Weather dependent.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Experience of working in a visitor attraction or similar customer focused operation
Experience of working with people of all ages
A can do attitude and willingness to get involved
A high standard of customer service and communication skills
