About the Role
Our client, a global leader in fuel storage and green energy solutions, is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team. You'll ensure that mechanical equipment and piping meet top technical standards, while driving innovation and optimising existing systems.
What You'll Do
Oversee mechanical equipment, including valves, piping, and rotating machines.
Ensure compliance with engineering codes and standards.
Lead and contribute to design reviews, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Specify, design, and oversee the safe operation of equipment such as tanks, pumps, jetty systems, and boilers.
Participate in risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP) and regulatory compliance.
Apply your expertise in industry standards like API, ASME, and EN.
Support ongoing asset management in high-hazard environments.
What You Bring
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong expertise in tank and piping design, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Experience in COMAH-regulated industries and managing aging assets.
Knowledge of relevant regulations (DSEAR, ATEX, PUWER, PED).
A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A full driving license.
