Forest School Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about outdoor learning and supporting children in discovering the wonders of nature? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forest School Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Cardiff for 4 days per week.
As a Forest School Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support the Forest School Leader in planning and delivering engaging outdoor sessions.
* Help children develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork through outdoor activities.
* Assist with preparing, maintaining, and managing resources for outdoor learning.
* Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Promote environmental awareness and foster a love of nature.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children, preferably in an outdoor or educational setting.
* Has a keen interest in outdoor learning and is willing to undertake Forest School training if required.
* Is enthusiastic, patient, and supportive.
* Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
