Goals and Objectives:
The Vulnerabilities Manager will play a pivotal role in transitioning the Vulnerability Management Service (VMS) from an external provider to an in-house capability, ensuring seamless and effective VM across Chubb's global footprint of around 9000 users in 18 countries. Key goals include configuring and managing a new vulnerability scanner, setting patching priorities, and communicating the importance of VM across a global footprint.
Responsibilities:
* Overall management of the Vulnerability Management capability.
Platform Management:
* Manage the operation of Qualys across Chubb's OnPrem and cloud-based IT estate.
* Configure scans, manage asset groups, and ensure accurate coverage. Run manual scans when necessary.
Operations and Understanding:
* Assessment of the potential impact of a vulnerability on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and prioritisation based on risk assessment. Identify the underlying cause of the vulnerability and work with security and IT leadership to mitigate risk exposure.
Strategy:
* Set long-term goals and objectives for the vulnerability management program to fully globalise the capability by integrating our USA partners.
Compliance:
* Ensure the organization complies with security policies and regulatory requirements and perform regular audits to identify compliance gaps.
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:
We are looking for an experienced infosec professional with a wide knowledge base.
Desirable Experience:
* Excellent communication skills that promote the security team as a supportive partner. Must be prepared to travel to our regional offices around the world if necessary.
* A true passion for cyber security and information technology.
* Pro-active and self-disciplined: a highly motivated individual who can evidence their successes in developing themselves.
* Strong experience developing relationships and building trust across a large company, including within different time zones and cultures.
