RSM UK is part of the international RSM network. RSM UK has over 3000 staff based in 35 offices across the UK. RSM is the 7th largest accountancy and business advisory firm nationally and the 6th largest internationally.
We design and develop cloud-based systems including our customer portal, risk management suite, and applications for payroll, HR, and recruitment. Our systems are used by thousands of external clients.
You will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, engaging documentation for our products. You will produce short videos for certain areas of functionality to aid our clients’ understanding of the systems.
You will establish processes to ensure that documentation is kept up to date. You will work with the business analysis, development, and testing teams and become an integral part of the release process, ensuring that the documentation is released at the same time.
You’ll make an impact by:
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for our products, including user manuals, release notes, and online help.
* Producing short instructional videos to enhance user understanding of the systems.
* Establishing and maintaining processes to ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
* Collaborating with business analysis, development, and testing teams to gather information and ensure documentation aligns with product releases.
* Participating in the release process to ensure documentation is released simultaneously with the product.

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
* Two years of experience in producing client-facing technical documentation and managing conflicting priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Eager to learn about new technologies and standards.
* Ability to design processes related to the preparation, approval, and distribution of online documentation.
* Proficiency in using documentation tools and content management systems, such as Confluence and Docusaurus.
* Experience producing concise videos using tools such as SnagIT or Adobe Camtasia.
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Markdown.
* Knowledge of UK Payroll and HR Systems would be an added advantage.
